Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia denied reports that the police would stop cars with men at the wheel and send drivers to military registration and enlistment offices. This is stated in Telegramdepartmental channel.
In the message, the ministry published a sample of a fake decree, in which the police were allegedly instructed to “stop light vehicles under the control of male citizens” and “after checking the documents, send them to representatives of the military commissariats.”
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia officially declares that this published scan is supposedly an indication GUOBDD MIA of Russia is fake, and the information contained in this “document” is false,” the message says. The department urged to be careful and vigilant, as well as to use information only from official sources.
Former chapter Committee of the Federation Council on Defense and Security Viktor Bondarev reminded Russians on the rules for serving the mobilization summons. The senator confirmed that the mobilization summons must be handed over to the citizen in person.
