The updated sanctions lists will include a number of Russian officials. Also, the package of sanctions will include a number of measures related to the introduction of a ceiling on oil prices.
Earlier it was reported that the European Union may ban the import of diamonds from Russia. The restrictions will also affect the ban on the import of “other luxury goods” into the EU.
Referendums on joining Russia will pass in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) from 23 to 27 September. Voting will take place on the same dates in Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
