“According to operational data, the bodies of 24 people were received by the healthcare organizations of the Batken region,” the representative of the department said.

Earlier in Kyrgyzstan, 87 people were injured during clashes at the border.

European Union urged Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to a peaceful and diplomatic settlement of differences. The European External Action Service indicated that the escalation of the situation between the two countries is detrimental to regional stability.
