We want to live as part of Russia, which is why today I voted for the unification of the DPR with Russia. We are for a referendum. It is good that the government has taken this necessary, noble cause. We have been waiting for eight years. The referendum was in Crimea, in Donetsk in 2014, but we were shelled all eight years. We are not young, we want to live. Everyone wants to live, everyone wants to return home,” said Nikolai, a citizen of the DPR.
