Zhaslan Madiev was born in 1983 in Almaty. Graduated from the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi, Columbia University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He began his career in 2004 as a specialist in the department for work with international financial institutions of the international relations department of Alliance Bank JSC.
In 2007-2018 worked in the structures of the Kazyna Sustainable Development Fund JSC, JSC NWF Samruk-Kazyna, Kazyna Capital Management, JSC Development Bank of Kazakhstan, JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
In 2019-2020 – Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2020-2022 – Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From January 2022 to the present, he has been the First Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
