President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday, September 22, published another video message in which he stated that the decision of the Russian authorities to conduct partial mobilization is an obstacle to the resumption of the negotiation process between Kyiv and Moscow.

According to Zelensky, the planning of referendums on the accession to Russia of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions of Ukraine, is another obstacle to negotiations. informs TASS.

The Ukrainian leader said that at present “a diplomatic mobilization of the entire international community is taking place,” and this allegedly applies not only to those countries that expressed open support for Kyiv immediately after the start of the Russian special operation in February.

Now the circle of those who support Ukraine, according to Zelensky, “is not limited only to the circle of our traditional partners” – Kyiv “is now supported by almost everyone.”

The Russian Ministry of Defense previously explained that partial mobilization announced in the Russian Federation, First of all, it is necessary to control the line of contact and the liberated territories of Ukraine. At the same time, the main task of the Russian special operation in Ukraine is being fulfilled, the defense department emphasized.
