Voting on the entry of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into the Russian Federation began in Kamchatka

In the Kamchatka Territory of Russia on Friday, September 23, polling stations were opened in the framework of referendums on joining the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics to the Russian Federation, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions of Ukraine. This was reported in the regional electoral committee.

As specified in the regional election commission, in the period from September 23 to September 26, voting within the framework of referendums will be held in temporary accommodation centers equipped in Kamchatka for refugees from the republics of Donbass and Ukraine, reports RIA News.

In addition, on September 27, it will be possible to vote in a specially designated room in the building of the Kamchatka Industrial College.

There is a hotline for referendum participants in the Kamchatka Territory.

Referenda on accession to the Russian Federation of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine are held from 23 to 27 September. In the Russian Federation will work polling stations in several subjects of the Federationincluding in Moscow, in the Rostov, Kaluga, Pskov, Kostroma regions and in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
