Video: On his first day of work, an aspiring driver crashes a trolleybus and leaves three injured

During the training of an aspiring operator inside the Tetepilco Warehouse of the Electric Transport Service, an accident occurred that left three people injured

The events were recorded this Wednesday at 12:05, where the applicant and two instructors were injured, of which only one was taken to hospital for evaluation, without any serious injuries.

The Collective Transportation System explained that as a result of the incident, damage was recorded to the perimeter fence of the maneuvering yard, as well as to the trolleybus unit 200020.

Meanwhile, the Trolebús administration indicated that damage was recorded on the fence of the maneuvering yard, while unit 200020 was affected. According to witness statements, the aspiring driver lost control, so the mobile unit left the test yard, knocked over a tree and crossed Axis 7 without running into pedestrians or cars.

After the arrival of the emergency services, the 302 medical unit took care of the most affected injured, a 48-year-old man. A crane also arrived at the scene which transported the affected unit to the interior of the Tetepilco facilities.

The mishap occurred after last Sunday, September 11, they began the tests of the elevated Trolleybus in Iztapalapa; one of the main transport projects of the administration of claudia sheinbaum in Mexico City.
