ASTANA. KAZINFORM – Zhanzhigit Omarkhan, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, informed about the current situation in transport and roads, Kazinform reports.
“The topic No. 1 of recent days has been the relocation of citizens of the Russian Federation to neighboring states. In social networks, there are reports of crowds at border crossings. Judging by the comments under the posts, this topic attracts a lot of attention from Kazakhstanis.
Based on my experience, I know that sooner or later the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan will start receiving journalistic requests, since the area of responsibility of our department includes issues of passenger road, rail and air transportation.
In this regard, as a press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I consider it necessary to inform colleagues in a timely manner about the current situation in transport and roads.
At the moment, the entire transport infrastructure in the country is operating normally. Trains run, planes fly, buses run without any special deviations from the norm.
Moreover, a new Boeing-737 aircraft arrived in Kazakhstan yesterday evening as part of the tasks to increase the carrying capacity and reduce flight delays. This is the fourth Boeing that SCAT has received in the last 1.5 months. Together with him, the carrier’s aircraft fleet now includes 30 aircraft. By the end of the year, the civil aviation fleet of Kazakhstan will be replenished with 10 more aircraft.
On republican roads now the situation is also normal. The traffic intensity is the same as the previous week.
At the same time, if media workers have additional questions, we are always ready to answer them, and to do this as usual, as quickly as possible,” Zhanjigit Omarkhan wrote in Facebook.
