Tomsk Cable Plant increased production by 1.5 times due to modernization – ExpertRU

The acquisition of new equipment allowed Tomsk Cable Plant LLC (Tomskkabel) to increase the production of rubber compounds up to 2 tons per day.

“Due to the purchase of production equipment, since mid-2022, the output of rubber compounds has increased by 50%. Today, the enterprise produces up to 2 tons of rubber compounds daily,” the report says.

Tomskkabel produces cables with copper and aluminum conductors. The products are supplied to enterprises in the oil and gas and construction industries, as well as to the nuclear industry and for railway transport.

Rubber compounds are used for the production of a common range of flexible cables (KG, KGESH, KGE, etc.). The specialists of the enterprise have developed over 20 recipes for insulating, hose and semi-conductive rubber; Last year, the company mastered the production of rubber compounds based on natural and synthetic rubber.
