ASTANA. KAZINFORM – To date, an increase in the number of foreign citizens entering the Republic of Kazakhstan is observed at the Kazakh-Russian border, Kazinform reports with reference to the press service of the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“The existing 30 automobile checkpoints are operating normally. At four, congestion is observed due to the increased flow of passengers and vehicles. The situation is under special control. The Border Guard Service, together with the competent state authorities, ensures security and law enforcement at border crossings. Interaction with the Russian border agency has been organized,” the KNB Border Service said in a statement.
It is noted that the PS NSC in its activities is guided by international treaties and the norms of the domestic legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
