The Russian government is preparing a recommended list of specialties whose holders can receive a deferment from partial mobilization. This was announced on Friday, September 23, in the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.

The department clarified that the list will list specialties in each industry direction. The list will be published no later than September 26, informs Interfax.

Along with this, the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation are working on a form for submitting lists of employees who meet the criteria for receiving a deferment from partial mobilization. This form is expected to appear on the Gosuslugi portal next week.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation also confirmed receipt of messages from specialists who were refused in the military commissariats to grant a deferment from partial mobilization. The department is already preparing appeals to the Ministry of Defense on this issue.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation previously announced that partial mobilization will not affect certain categories of IT workers and the media. Grounds for exemption from mobilization lists of names of citizens, which the heads of organizations must submit to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, will be considered.
