Information about the conscription as part of the partial mobilization of allegedly more than 300 thousand people is fake. This was announced on Friday, September 23, by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

“These are all fakes,” Peskov said. informs RIA News. Earlier, a number of Russian media and Telegram channels reported that more than 1 million people would be called up in Russia as part of partial mobilization.

President of the Russian Federation 21 September announced a partial mobilization. As the Russian Defense Minister stressed, 300,000 reservists will be called up within its framework. First of all, they will call on artillerymen, shooters, mechanic drivers and tankers with combat experience. Later it became known that the mobilization will not affect conscripts and university students. The deferral will be given to Russians receiving their first higher education in full-time or evening departments.

In addition, within the framework of partial mobilization, specialists working in high-tech industries, as well as in the financial system, will not be called.
