In fact, the organizers of the “business”, as established, were not going to pay dividends, they were initially aimed at deceiving the population. The victims began to apply to the district police departments,” said Deputy Head of the Police Department of Almaty city Didar Akhanov.

The suspected officers of the criminal police of the city, as well as the police departments of the Nauryzbay and Almaly districts, were detained in one of the apartments of the Akkent microdistrict. We are talking about three girls and one young man. The oldest member of the group is 26 years old, according to preliminary data, she is the leader, and the youngest member is only 20 years old.

“When inspecting the suspects’ home, the investigative team found and seized over 60 bank cards in different names, four cell phones, SIM cards and laptops. An important detail: five common notebooks with bank card accounts and passwords were also found in the rented apartment. Currently, a complex of operational-search measures is being carried out aimed at identifying and detaining other persons involved in the commission of a number of crimes,” Akhanov summed up.
