Roscosmos Director General Yuri Borisov said that the Russian Federation will be ready to start negotiations regarding the flights of Russian cosmonauts on the American Starliner manned spacecraft when it has completed at least three flights.

Borisov said this at a press conference after the launch of the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft (K.E. Tsiolkovsky) on the Soyuz-2.1a rocket. “We need to collect statistics of a certain reliability,” explained the general director of Roscosmos. About it writes TASS on Wednesday, September 21.

Earlier, Roskosmos called it premature to talk about the flights of Russian cosmonauts on Starliner. The state corporation drew attention to the fact that as part of the flight tests, the American ship did not make a single flight without remarks.

At the end of August it was reported that NASA invites Russia to turn on Starliner to the cross flight program. It was noted that this would not require an additional document. It will be enough to make adjustments to the already existing agreement.
