ATYRAU. KAZINFORM – Nine investment projects in the field of tourism are being implemented in Atyrau. This was announced by Nurbol Zhanabekov, head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Kazinform correspondent reports.
In accordance with the comprehensive plan for the socio-economic development of the Atyrau region for 2021-2025, it is planned to implement nine investment projects for 10.8 billion tenge with the creation of 338 jobs.
“This year, the Nurly-Tal ethnopark was built in the city of Atyrau, a tourist fishing base in the Kurmangazy region, a campsite along the Aktobe-Atyrau highway in the Makat region, an AMANDYG campsite in the Isatai region, and the reconstruction of the Kigash tourist base was completed in the Kurmangazy region. “. The construction of the Sarayshyk visitor center in the Makhambet district and a family active recreation park in the city of Atyrau are also underway. In addition, it is planned to build a sanatorium and health complex on the shores of the Inder salt lake in the period from 2022 to 2024 and the Eldorado recreation center in the Makhambet district from 2024 to 2025,” said Nurbol Zhanabekov.
This year, services in the amount of 1 billion 722 million tenge were provided to 57.7 thousand people in the region in the field of domestic and inbound tourism. Compared to the same period last year, the number of visiting tourists doubled.
