TARAZ. KAZINFORM – In the Zhambyl region, an operational and preventive event “Motorcycle” is being held, police officers are identifying motorcyclists who violate traffic rules, Kazinform correspondent reports.
“From September 21 to September 25, the operational and preventive event “Motorcycle” is being held in the Zhambyl region,” the press service of the regional police department said. The PMO is designed to reduce the number of road traffic injuries, as well as violations of the silence by motorcycle riders and other traffic violations.
“Employees of the patrol police battalions remind Zhambyl residents of the need to comply with the requirements of traffic rules and drive motorcycles safely. With the drivers which breakt silence at night, or drivingt with a loud exhaust, preventive work is being carried out, such facts are suppressed,” said Gulsara Mukhtarkulova, head of the press service of the regional police department.
According to the department, since the beginning of the year, 13 road accidents involving motor vehicles have occurred in the region, one person has died.
So, at night, a 26-year-old resident of the village of Kordai, moving along one of the central streets of the settlement, lost control at high speed and committed a self-tipping. As a result of the accident, the driver of the motorcycle, without regaining consciousness, died at the scene from his injuries.
The Police Department of the Zhambyl region urges motorcycle drivers to comply withtraffic rules, do not violate the speed limit, avoid risky maneuvers, drive a vehicle in a helmet.
