ASTANA. KAZINFORM – Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament, Head of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Maulen Ashimbayev awarded the leadership and staff of the TV channel Jibek Joly “Letter of thanks” for active participation in the coverage of the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in the capital, Kazinform correspondent reports.
The award ceremony took place in the Senate building.
“Chairman of the Senate Maulen Ashimbaev thanked the state bodies, public organizations, volunteers for their work. The media, including our TV channel, also received awards for effective work on information coverage. In conclusion, Maulen Ashimbaev wished everyone fruitful work,” commented Konstantin Kharlamov, director of the Jibek Joly TV channel.
TV channel Jibek Joly began broadcasting in the country on September 1. Jibek Joly focuses on social and political events, issues of concern to society, as well as cultural and sports news.
VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions passed in the capital from 13 to 15 September. The main topic of the Congress was defined as “The role of the leaders of world and traditional religions in the spiritual and social development of mankind in the post-pandemic period.”
The visit of Pope Francis, Supreme Imam of al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed at-Tayeb, Ashkenazi Rabbi of Israel David Lau is a feature of the religious forum.
