Russia will use all possibilities and tools to protect its interests. This was stated in an interview with Newsweek magazine on Wednesday, September 21, by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

“I have no doubt that Russia will withstand any sanctions pressure,” he said. The country will continue to adapt to new economic realities, strengthen import substitution, transfer mutual settlements with partners into national currencies, the minister said, transmits RIA News.

The goals of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine will be fulfilled, no matter how long it takes, Lavrov said. By its actions, the West left Moscow no choice but to conduct a NWO. At the same time, he noted that Washington is not interested in establishing peace in Ukraine and is pumping weapons into the country to achieve its geopolitical goals.

According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Russia sees the desire of people to be with her and therefore will respect their choice. The Russian Federation recognized the independence of the republics of Donbass within the borders fixed in their constitutions, Lavrov said. The leaders of the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhzhya announced the corresponding plans, Kherson region. All of them can exercise the right to self-determination in accordance with the UN Charter, the minister stressed.
