KOKSHETAU. KAZINFORM – During the meeting, Akmola businessmen asked all questions of interest to Dmitry Malakhov, First Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who arrived in the region, Kazinform correspondent reports citing the press service of the region’s akim.
The meeting was held in an open mic format. And the entrepreneurs of the region had the opportunity to ask the guest problematic questions. D. Malakhov noted that business protection is a priority for the anti-corruption service. According to the speaker, the Agency is taking measures to prevent the unreasonable involvement of bona fide entrepreneurs in the orbit of criminal prosecution and to protect entrepreneurs from unlawful interference by government agencies.
“Conscientious entrepreneurs will be provided with measures of state support, in turn, for companies using corruption schemes, liability measures will be applied. Thus, it is expected to increase the integrity of entrepreneurs and the immunity of the business community against corruption,” D. Malakhov explained.
“In the region, due to the implementation of state support measures within the framework of the Business Road Map – 2025 Program and other support programs, there is a positive trend in socio-economic development indicators. Since 2010, more than 4.5 thousand projects have been supported, which contributed to the opening and expansion of business in the manufacturing industry, agriculture, transport, provision of various services to the population and other areas,” explained the head of the region Yermek Marzhikpaev.
Entrepreneurs voiced problems in the field of subsidizing agriculture, distribution of fuels and lubricants, shortage of pasture land for grazing livestock, ensuring the availability of facilities for people with limited mobility, as well as tax legislation.
The issues raised were taken under control.
