The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation resumed the state program of preferential car loans under the lines “Family Car”, “First Car”, “Medical Worker” and “Education Worker” back in June 2022, but until recently, purely domestic cars Lada, GAZ and UAZ were eligible for these benefits. . State programs apply to cars worth up to 2 million rubles produced in the Russian Federation. The discount subsidized from the state budget can be up to 20% of the cost of the car in all federal districts, except for the Far East, where the discount is increased to 25%.

The report of the Russian Association of Automobile Dealers emphasizes that the Haval models produced at the Russian plant are also included in the lists of the preferential car leasing program.

Since 2021, the Jolion compact crossover has been regularly featured in listings. top selling Chinese models in Russia: in August alone, 2,055 vehicles were sold.

The Chinese brand Haval, owned by Great Wall Motors, is going to increase localization at the plant “Haveil Motor Manufacturing Rus” in the Tula region up to 80%. As part of the modernization of production, Haval intends to organize the production of engines, gearboxes, electronic components and vehicle control systems in Russia. The number of jobs is planned to double – up to 4000 from the current 2000, the total investment of the company in the localization of production in Russia will amount to 42.4 billion rubles.
