Covid-19 vaccination for children under 5 years of age in CDMX: when, calendar and venues – El Sol de México

Five-year-old children will receive the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from Monday, September 26 to Friday, September 30, as well as the second dose for minors who are eight years old, the Government of Mexico City reported.

For both groups, the Pfizer pediatric vaccine will be applied.

What is the calendar?

Vaccination will be carried out according to the first letter of the first surname, as indicated in the following calendar:

A, B, C – Monday, September 26.

D, E, F, G – Tuesday, September 27.

H, I, J, K, L, M – Wednesday, September 28

N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R – Thursday, September 29

S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z – Friday, September 30.

The requirements

Minors must meet the required age, be accompanied by an adult and respect as far as possible the day of vaccination according to the calendar.

The population is recommended to go with the vaccination file that can be downloaded on the page www.mivacuna.salud.gob.mx, printed and pre-filled.

Vaccination sites

The capital administration indicated that 55 vaccination points have been installed that will open from 08:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and whose location can be consulted on the page www.vacunacion.cdmx.gob.mx.

If my child is behind, when can he be vaccinated?

During the week of September 26 to 30, lagging minors may also be vaccinated, to whom the Pfizer pediatric dose will also be applied.

The first dose will be applied to stragglers with 11, 10, nine and eight years of age.

Second dose to laggards with 11, 10 and nine years of age, as long as they received the first vaccine at least 21 days ago.

Adults who require the first dose and boosters can also be vaccinated with CanSino the following week.
