KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM A new akim has been appointed in the Bukhar-Zhyrau district of the Karaganda region. Nurken Kobzhanov, who previously headed the Osakarovsky district, was approved for this position, Kazinform correspondent reports.
Personnel changes continue in the Karaganda region. In agreement with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and deputies of the district maslikhat, Nurken Saifiddinovich Kobzhanov was appointed akim of the Bukhar-Zhyrau district. Prior to that, he headed the Osakarovsky district.
The head of the Karaganda region, Zhenis Kassymbek, took part in an extraordinary session of the district maslikhat and presented a candidate for the post of akim of the district.
The deputies supported it unanimously.
Former akim of Bukhar-Zhyrau region Serzhan Aimakov was relieved of his post due to transfer to another job.
Zhenis Kassymbek set tasks that need to be addressed as a priority.
“There is little time left before the heating season, it is important to ensure its high-quality passage. Keep under special control the issue of heat supply. The project for the construction of a water supply system in the village of Kushoky, launched last year, requires attention. The current problem is the lack of pasture and hay lands. Residents of the area have repeatedly raised this issue. It is necessary, in accordance with the legislation, to carry out work on the withdrawal of unused land,” said the oblast akim.
Nurken Kobzhanov has been in public service for about 15 years. Previously worked in the field of agriculture.
From 2007 to 2013 he worked as deputy akim of the Osakarovskiy district. Then he was akim of Bukhar-Zhyrau region. From June 2017 to the present, he has served as akim of the Osakarovskiy district.
