Chairman State Duma Viacheslav Volodin noted that partial mobilization will not affect 99% of the mobilization resource, only those who have served and have a demanded military specialty will be called up. About this he wrote in your Telegram channel.
September 21 President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia. As the Minister of Defense explained Sergei Shoiguit is planned to draft about 300 thousand people into the army – this is just over 1% of the country’s total mobilization resource.
According to Volodin, partial mobilization will affect “those who have served, with combat experience, who have a demanded military specialty.”
“It will not affect 99% of the mobilization resource: those who have not served, who have no military experience, who study at universities, etc. The legal status of volunteers and fighters of the LPR and DPR will be the same as that of the Russian military,” he explained.
The speaker of the State Duma also noted that the deputies would not have reservations and all parliamentarians who meet the requirements for partial mobilization “should help with their participation in a special military operation.”
