People who avoided military service before the age of 27 and received a certificate instead of a military ID upon reaching this age should not be subject to conscription during partial mobilization, lawyer Artem Mugunyants explained in a conversation with Lenta.ru.

“If they announce a general mobilization, then [обладателей справок] will be called, like everyone else. The same conditions will apply to them as to people who did not serve, but have a military ID. The same applies to those who do not have any [регулирующих статус военнообязанного] documents,” he said.

Earlier, Mugulyants listed the specialties of the storekeepers, who will be of interest to the military commissars in the first place. In his opinion, offensive troops will be required: tankers, marines and motorized rifles.

President of Russia Vladimir Putin announced about the beginning of partial mobilization in the country on September 21. Head of the Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu clarified that in total it is planned to call on 300 thousand reservists. At the same time, partial mobilization will not affect those who are currently serving on conscription and students.
