The first meeting of the draft commission of the Leningrad region on the partial mobilization of citizens took place on the morning of September 22. This is reported by the regional administration in its telegram channel.
Governor Alexander Drozdenko headed the regional commission. He instructed to create similar commissions in the regions and said that they would start work today.
At the beginning of the meeting, Drozdenko spoke about the task and goals of the commission.
“The main task of the commission is to ensure the unconditional implementation of the presidential decree and those planned targets that have been communicated to us, for partial mobilization. The deadlines are quite tough, although the tasks are absolutely clear. <...> The purpose of our meeting is to clarify the volume and timing of the supply of mobilization resources, organizational issues for conscription, to determine the places for conscription support, issues of technical support for conscription, transport support,” the governor said.
In St. Petersburg, the first meeting of the commission on partial mobilization will pass also September 22, her headed Governor Alexander Beglov. Decisions on financing mobilization activities from the city budget in 2022 or 2023 not yet.
