He believes that this decision will be served “under the sauce of the overdue reform” of the Security Council, but the essence will be precisely in the removal of the Russian Federation. Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the West would try to exclude Russia from the UN Security Council. He indicated that Belgrade would not support this decision, since the withdrawal of Russia “will destroy the world order.”
Vučić expressed confidence that Western countries will try to expel Russia from the UN Security Council. He finds it difficult to give an accurate forecast as to whether they will succeed or not. The head of the Serbian state stressed that Serbia would not approve this decision, and at least two-thirds votes are required to exclude the state UN.
He stressed that the exclusion of Russia from the UN Security Council would jeopardize the existing world order.
