The president Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated that he was “already fed up” to stand at the head of the country, but he could not leave this post because of fear for her people.
He made the corresponding statement while talking to reporters at the Khatyn memorial complex. His words leads BelTA.
Lukashenka reminded that it will soon be 30 years since he is the President of Belarus, every day and night during which he is “on the lookout.”
“I’m already fed up with it. And on the other hand, I think: “Well, I spat and went. By and large, no one will throw a stone at me.” And what will happen to you? Okay, we’ll bring normal people to power. But where is the guarantee that they will retain this power? She is not. And then they will slowly start skinning you from the bottom up or from the top down,” he said.
In addition, according to Lukashenka, he will not be able to live in peace if this starts to happen in Belarus. He stressed that he is under great pressure from the citizens of the country, because he is afraid to let everyone down.
“I think you are standing on the barricades and supporting me there, sculpt some kind of idol out of me and so on, and I will let you down. You, real civil servants, who are for the country. You have no idea, this is the most responsible thing,” he concluded.
Previously Lukashenka predicted “grand nix” in Poland because of the upcoming elections in the country.
