It is clarified that the helicopter flew towards the city of Marmaris to participate in extinguishing the fire, but crashed in Denizli.

“There is information that there are 7 people in the helicopter. Rescue operations have begun in connection with the incident. We will conduct an investigation on the spot,” the regional administration said.

September 21 in the Turkish resort town of Marmaris broke out major forest fire. The fire is being fought from the ground and air, helicopters and ground equipment, as well as a large number of forestry workers, are involved in extinguishing the fire.
